How does the County advertise when there is an opening?
Job openings are listed here on the Scotts Bluff County website, the bulletin board outside the Personnel Office and on the bulletin board on the main floor of the Administration Building. Openings are also advertised on various job sites and sometimes in the Star-Herald newspaper.
Where can I get a County application?
Applications are available outside of the Personnel Office in the Administration Building on the 2nd floor and also available here on the Scotts Bluff County website.
How do I apply for a Scotts Bluff County opening?
A Scotts Bluff County application needs to be completed. Applications that are not signed and dated will not be considered for the opening.

When will I hear back about my application?
Your completed application will be reviewed by the Personnel Office; if acceptable it will be sent to the department with the opening. Successful candidates will be contacted by that department to set up a date and time for an interview.
