Extension Office

The mission of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension office is to help Nebraskans apply timely, research-based knowledge to their daily lives.

In Nebraska Extension:

  • We are committed to improving the productivity and quality of the lives of Nebraskans.
  • We do this by providing educational programming.
  • We address and focus on selected priority needs and issues.
  • We develop programs available to a diverse statewide clientele-agricultural enterprises, families, youths, businesses and communities – as well as national and international audiences.
  • We use a partnership of federal, state, local and private resources, i.e., technologies, information, money and people.
  • We offer all those audiences opportunities to understand and adapt to technical, economic and social change.
