Daily operations are supervised by the Program Director Vonnie Cotant and the Operations Lieutenant Robert Clause. Complaints or concerns regarding the facility can be directed to Administration.
Billing 308-633-1855
The Training Corporal is the liaison between SBCDC and all phones, tablets, and commissary. Training Corporal is also responsible for the billing of detainee housing and transportation. Detainee account questions can also be directed to the Training Corporal. Any attorneys/outside agency requesting privileged calls should contact this department.
Booking 308-633-1864
The only information agency personnel are permitted to answer are as follows: If they are currently incarcerated, charges and bond amount. If you are inquiring about someone’s next court date, please contact the court house at either 308-436-6648 for County Court or 308-436-6660 for District Court.
Classification 308-633-1849
Any agency looking to house an individual with SBCDC should contact our Classification Corporal. After hours, the Shift Sergeant will authorize courtesy holds. Classification is the liaison with our Food Service Contract: Trinity. Questions regarding our kitchen service will be directed to classification.
Commissary
Our current contract is with Keefe Commissary Network. We have an onsite contract worker who is the liaison with SBCDC. This worker completes all orders for our detainees and oversees inmate accounts.
House Arrest/Work Release 308-765-0381
Detainees who are approved by their presiding judge and have been sentenced have the opportunity for Work Release or House Arrest. Any questions about scheduling, fees or restrictions can be directed to the HA/WR Officer.
Medical 308-633-1845 / 308-633-1857
Medical is contracted with Advanced Correctional Health. Medical is staffed by a Medical Sergeant, who is the liaison between the contract nurses. Any questions about medication may be directed to the medical department. Only prescription eye wear and prescription medication will be accepted after intake. Answers to questions may be limited due to HIPPA.
PREA 308-633-1865
SBCDC is a PREA compliant facility, past audits may be found on the department page. Any tips or questions may be directed to the PREA Coordinator, all information is confidential.
Programs: 308-633-1859
All programs within the facility are voluntary but encouraged. Anyone inquiring about offering a program or a donation for the facility will contact the Program Sergeant. The Program Sergeant completes all participation lists and training for volunteers.
Training: 308-633-1858
The training department is headed by our Training Sergeant, who is responsible for all new officer training and recertifications. They are the facility instructor for PPCT, Taser, CPR and any other programs deemed by facility administration. The Training Sergeant conducts the hiring process, any questions regarding position availability should be directed to them. Any other agency needing training completed should contact the Training Department.
Transport 308-633-1847
Our transport team provides inmate transportation for the Scotts Bluff County Sheriff’s office and the US Marshall services out of Wyoming, Colorado, South Dakota, and North Dakota. Any outside agency needing transportation or a court appointment lined up should contact our transport team.
Bond: The public can post a detainee’s bond on site or on-line to Access Corrections.com or call 1-866-345-1884.
Visitation: The public can set up detainee visitation on-line by going to ICSolutions.com or call 1-888-506-8407.
Professional Visitors (Attorney): Dress code for professional visitors should be professional in nature and not reveal excessive areas of skin of the upper leg or torso area. Professional visitors will check in with the receptionist prior to entry and disclose any belongings on their person. If a cell phone or laptop is required, they will meet with facility staff for assistance. All visitors are subject to a search of themselves or their belongings by facility staff.
