The Scotts Bluff County Tourism Board is made up of individuals representing lodging, events, sports and attractions. The Committee meets the second Wednesday of the month at 1:15 p.m. at the Scotts Bluff County Administration Building in the North Commissioners Room

Apply for a grant to the Scotts Bluff Area Visitors Bureau to assist with event promotion, marketing or Capital Improvement.
The funds used for the grants comes from the Nebraska lodging tax, which is part of the Nebraska Visitors Act. Every lodging property and campground in Scotts Bluff County impose a 4% lodging tax on total gross receipts for all sleeping accommodations. 3% is used by the Visitors Bureau in Scotts Bluff County for marketing our community to the leisure traveler, for promotional materials and capital improvement grants. 1% is collected by the Department of Revenue and issued to the Nebraska Tourism Commission.
Due to the collection of lodging tax, Scotts Bluff County has helped with improvements at the following attractions:
- The Legacy of the Plains Museum
- The Midwest Theater remodeling project
- The Riverside Discovery Center
- The Scotts Bluff County Ag Society Building
- The Wildcat Hills Nature Center
- Wayfinding signage in Scottsbluff, Gering and Terry Town
- The 23 Club Baseball Club
- Twin Cities Baseball
