The Scotts Bluff County Clerk’s Office needs a few more election workers to fill positions for the 2026
Primary Election on May 12, 2026. This is an opportunity to serve your community, educate yourself on the
processes involved in the election and be a part of one of the most important processes of the American Government.
These are compensated positions and a great experience to add to your resume or college application.
To be eligible to be an election worker, you must meet the following requirements:
-Be an active registered voter in Scotts Bluff County if 18 years of age or older
(16 and 17 year olds are allowed to help in certain capacities at the polling places)
-Be available to work from 6:00 A.M. to roughly 8:00 P.M. on the day of the election
-Be available to attend one evening or Saturday morning election training
-Be willing to travel within all of Scotts Bluff County
-Be willing to vote early as you may not be working in your voting precinct
-Be trustworthy, able to work well as part of a team, practice discretion, and remain respectful of all voters and
election workers
-Be able to comprehend and follow both verbal and written instructions
